Review
TurboBackup is a data backup application created by FileStream. The concept of "backup applications" is not new and the Internet is filled with this type of utilities, all with the same purpose. Does TurboBackup distinguish itself above the others? Not really, but it does not sink underneath them either. The application is extremely easy to use, which will be a big plus for users that are less computer-literate. It can back up all kinds of data, from basic files to e-mails, as well as configuration settings for applications, including your own Windows settings.
Backups can be scheduled and performed unassisted, and can be organized in different categories. Backup operations are very quick - of course, the size of the data being saved also matters.
There were some permission problems with Windows 7, but this had more to do with default Windows user settings than with TurboBackup itself. You can try the application before you buy it, and with a price tag of $49.95 it comes at the right price. FileStream also has an excellent support system that can handle any issues regarding their applications.
